Felicity is a Provisional Psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). Felicity is experienced in the disability sector, having worked as a Behaviour Support Practitioner since 2018, and previously as a support worker for several years. Felicity’s experience ranges from direct client work, both in providing personal care and psychosocial skill building with clients, as well as working with families, carers and stakeholders in providing support, training and a collaborative approach.
Felicity has more than 10 years of experience working and volunteering in the mental health and disability sectors. Her primary focus is on working with adults, however she has worked with people from across the lifespan, from adolescence to late adulthood. Felicity is passionate about mental health and the ways this can intersect for people with disabilities. She is an experienced trainer in the areas of Restrictive Practices and Positive Behaviour Supports, adapting her approach for varying audiences: families, support workers, managers, and support coordinators, as well as assisting organisations to meet their legislative requirements.
Felicity has also had research published in Disability and Rehabilitation around the impact of traumatic brain injury on psychosocial skills and self-perception. She is an animal lover and a pet parent who enjoys cooking, visual arts, board games, and learning new things.
